The skinniest twig- but just as fat girl around turned 18 one week ago.
She brings down the house with horrific laughter and strange outburst of uncertain languages. Which transcends past Phillip Avenue and Aroozoo to Bournemouth. The world is a noisier, crazy and brighter place with her around.

The scariest whitest girl I know turns 19 today!
Without her around Singapore will lack one awesome hockey play, a gentle lady who shrieks incessantly, and a facial contortionist who brings 'funny face' to a whole new level.

This April I went to Sydney! Laura Kerrin and sat in the coach, butt up for 12+ hours and got there with neck and back aches. Next time I'm sitting with jetstar.

We took a bus to Bondi beach. The driver told us it would be a 'lovely 10min walk' but it took us close to 45mins instead.

Our beach craze continued with Clayton and Nicholas and we went to Cronulla beach,

and Wollongong beach, which interested the two boys very very dearly.

The coach back home turned into a road trip! Clayton drove us from Sydney to Melbourne, where we detoured to Canberra for dinner and rolling down hills.

Good trip people, good trip.

Orientation is officially over, and my paperwork isn't complete yet.

Melbourne is fun! So far, because I only have 12 hours a week (for the time being unfortunately), orientation wasn't that bad. I had the most wild chaotic camp ever in the history of camps. Alcohol and disgusting games come up top priority on the list of activities.

Tmr I have practical, I have to wear closed toe shoes and jean. That sucks! It's so hot now! And I have to bring a camera to take pictures of 'your friend's teeth'. Ew?

I have so many things to do before school starts, that includes a first aid course. Hui I'm going to get a first aid cert and card (!!!), how retarded.

This is probably the last time I will blog till March? Because it takes super long in Aust to get internet up and running.

I'm going back tomorrow. Although it's not the first, I'm still leaving behind 2months worth of fun and catching up, headed for the place that forces you to grow up fast and be an adult, with ultimate freedom.
(It is actually not quite a good thing, very coveted, but not quite good).

I am going to miss wearing one layer and walking around at night, calling up old friends without the 70cents/min nagging at me, eating truckloads of cheap hawker food...

I'm going to miss not studying, slacking around just shopping or eating, lazy at home, bumming around like useless unproductive kids with the excuse of being on 'holiday'.

So it's back to studying for another 5 years or so.

Laura and I are so freaking random. It's amazing how we decided to go to Sentosa at 3am in the morning, with picnic ideas in mind and tanning ones not.

In the end we sat down at the beach which was so freaking HOT I nearly died. My entire front and back waist up is burnt.

Instead of checking out Cafe Del Mar by walking past it, we ended up lying there while I baked myself further. Laura's amazing. She was totally at ease, relaxing... I WAS GOING TO DIE!!!

Sun tanning is torturous.

That was that for Sentosa, we went shopping at Bugis Street again for the umpteenth time, and I did my nails (!!! oh yay pretty nail art) while she did her hair.

For very disastrous night, you might have to refer to biggreenbean for story in the next few days after I've calmed myself down from this ordeal.

We had Laura's surprise last week, where she got caught on film being all boring and unemotional while watching the video we painstakingly put together for her at my house. Where Zhi and Ting were horribly late because of the 'uluness' of Katong, and Jacq tricking Zhi into thinking Baileys was Milo with milk. The whole borrowing of the one and only lovely black and gold jacket, which is now new skin. Therefore causing much displeasure from the owner.

So anyway it was all exciting! The preparation, the anticipation, and the carrying out of operation Laura. Champagne and corona were taken in together with cheap hawker food at intercontinental, as well as random photos piling us up on the king size bed and giant bathrobes.

Went out at night again to drink and party, where we encountered some coincidental 'fate' moments, where Zhi and Jacq got high, where we walked (!!!) and exhausted all our finances. Got back to the hotel, washed of all smoke...

... except smoke off Zhi's denim skirt, (we shan't go into that)

slept till we had to check out, all tired and dazed from the day+night before. Got home happy and satisfied because the video was a major success, Laura was happy, cake+champagne go too well together, and the night was all swell.

That's why I'm looking forward to Melbourne 2007.

I am really rather high now, meet my friend Laura.

We were supposed to go East Coast today, it's a weekly thing. But we haven't been going for the past 2 weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore today we sat around drank baileys (at 12pm) and 'exercised' taking photos. It was quite tiring really.

And this is the roof of my patio. It's pretty really. I think I'm a freaking alcoholic. When Eyin came by later to rip off songs, I had more baileys.

Meet my garden, and deckchairs. We then headed off to Esplanade in a cab because we were lazy, and ERP doesn't quite do us good. MaxBrenners saw us a few dollars poorer too, then shopping for cny we went!

With me turning into an alcohol freak, I've successfully turned Eyin into a shopaholic! So she took a train back instead of the cab, due to insufficient funds haha.

So I met up with Weiyann and Siling for some more shopping, dinner and more drinks. Weiyann might visit me soon, and Siling might be going to Trinity! More friends in Melbourne! And it was all good catching up and stuff, walking and getting lost... and taking a cab in the end...

Now I'm home and tired, 7days left in (sunny?) Singapore! My apartment in Melbourne is ready already! I'm looking forward to parties of all sorts! Birthdays, housewarmings, bbqs, and erm just random parties that we throw for the heck of it.

YAY Melbourne! I can't wait.

So last night was Laura's party! It was really hard trying to call her Yijun for some reason. It was disco theme! and Nick (the egg) was definitely dressed for it.

After the party, I dropped by Fur's house for a little while to check out the new place, nice! He taught me to fold the sleeves of army uniform.

Because the retarded boy was lazy to walk we cycled out to the main road and he cycled back in, a good 30secs worth of cycling.

There's 9 there because jacq's red pair is missing. We kinda messed up the place a bit.

HELLO! I'm back home at long last, after a freaking long day.

Had my medical checkups to do in town, so I went and bumped into JAN. Walked around quite a bit and called a few people up. Like Jvet Jzeejing Jixin and Muee.

Met Laura, and went to the cursed BBDC centre. I HATE BUSES. So to cut a long story short, we got lost and took a cab. We nearly died with the Johor Bahru residents, and Mandai zoo, Night safari environment. A 45minute journey took us 2.5hrs, and we got to daybed at 9pm.

Was there with Laura and Van, then! Nick, Tze, Wong and company joined us later.

Yesterday, cycling with Laura at East Coast again, followed by spicy Ajisen ramen and a dip in the pool.

Along the way Laura's ezlink card got confiscated due to our inability to produce 5cents, and also because the bus aunty is slightly psychotic. We can't blame her for that because all she does in a day is loop around East Coast.

Ask Laura for complete story.

We concluded that I can't cycle and she can't blade, we need to do wakeboarding and that my job sucks.

Spent the night over at hers where we 'watched' the fantastic Laguna beach (it sucks) and ate way too much supper. Now I have gastric pains.

Finally took the first step in contributing to Cocoquettes today. Bought myself cloth from Arab Street and People's Park Centre. Had the long awaited COCA with Lala, Sabrina and Clara.

Now I'm waiting to go for yoga with my mum. Didn't want to initially but my mum msged me, whining, 'You said you will do with me, you promised...'

I have never travelled around Singapore so much in my entire life, and I'm willing to bet Laura hasn't taken so much buses and mrts. It was rather amusing seeing her in a bus.

Okay today Laura Reann and I attending 'lessons' that nearly bored us to death, leading us to consume large quantities of 50cents milo in succession.

Uni lectures and tutorials this year are going to be so bad. I already see myself skipping quite a number, and still hoping to obtain an average of 70 at the end of the year.

So we (minus Laura add weird boy who looks 15, is 17, think he's 19), had laupasat stingray and kwayteow for dinner at 11pm, hence I am quite full and bloated at the moment, not ready to sleep. but chompchomp is still calling out to me. Only chompchomp will satisfy.

Yesterday Clara and I visited puffy Lala in her big resort house, I then travelled to IKEA Tampines, for the first time in my life, to meet up with some good old friends.

Today is a good day.

What with the drizzle and tired yoga body, the inability to blade and quest for palm trees, Laura and I managed some ~~serious~~ workout activity at East Coast.

Two anorexic girls then proceeded to swim while making a pit stop at Katong laksa. Not quite so ano after all.

We then went on an adventure to Bukit Batok and Bukit Gombak, and tomorrow we're going there again to continue on this adventure, and sit for two successive classes after a really long time.

By the way, I cut my hair.

Jakarta Bandung and Puncak was awesome.

Friday was my first day spent out since 7july2006.
sad to say, I freaked out.

I sound like such a bimbo, but I was terrified! Firstly, I got lost trying to get to city hall mrt. I walked around the entire esplanade (don't ask me how I got there) and tried to find the secret underground passageway to citylink. Secondly, there were too many people, it was crowded and I felt surrounded! Like slightly claustrophobic. Ok I feel stupid just typing this.

Met Kerrin for abit! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Although she was horrendously late, but nevermind! Even though she was too skinny she was still fun haha(: You have to send me that photo love!

Saturday was spent out with Fat. I brought him to do his favourite activity!

the poster's quite scary huh. nowadays drama practices are getting less and less productive. if we meet for 3hrs, we only can go through it once, and we'll spend the rest of the time taking photos, ~~bitching~~, chatting, looking at pictures, or just playing around.

my group this time is super kiasu! i bet if i hung out around them more, i'd be going to mulitple lectures and tutorials and photocopy a large variety of notes. and i thought singaporeans should be the most kiasu. anyhow, i sure am going to miss drama. it might be time consuming and a poor judge of English skills, but it sure is fun(:

the term is drawing to a close. i only have 2 days of school left and 3 days for drama exams, then the real exams will be here. and i havent decided whether or not i'll miss trinity. next year looks a lot better, with a new house, new friends coming over to join in the melb cheer, and having pipi around.

hugh and van had itchy feet and felt the urge to scale some wall. then we saw this security guard and laura screamed 'LAI!!! ZOU!!!' and we ran all the way down the street.
i scale small rocks.

the day started off pretty sedentary, with van and i bumming around in bed until dinner time, and laura waking up at 4.30pm.

okay seriously this week has been the funnest week since. and it's only saturday! weekend's here!

because of the many late nights, monday i skipped my first hoi tutorial and chem lect, wed i had no school(: thu i skipped my first EAP tutorial, and fri i WENT for chem lect! amazing.

yday was prom, hence throughout the week it was just exciting watching everyone get flustered over hair and makeup, helping the flusterees with hair and makeup, and most importantly, we didnt go for it.

i like the way i blog 'we', and it's obvious enough to me that it's just laura and van.

friday was fun! after chem lect we went to the city to do some shopping, and van caved in again. met hugh and got all kiddy and girly at target. we were there for... maybe 2hrs? playing with cool hellokitty merchandise and 'get jiggy with it' santa. oh! and hugh was dancing with homer simpson haha.

my parents just left for the airport to go back to Singapore. it's another 10 weeks of school before i can get home too.

i got back my umat results today, and it's quite alright. to be honest, amid all this holidaying now, i'm really quite worried for the term3 results. i dont want a repeat of term2 to happen, but did i even try my best.

it's sad that kids now think that they're parents will only be happy if they can score above 260 for psle, get single digit for Os, get into a decent jc. and it's even sadder that sometimes, it's true.

okay the past week has been drama-filled. it was quite fun actually, swapping tutorial times and rearranging my timetable so that i can watch drama.

yes that's st kilda's beach and yijun. this whole week has been so uneventful it just whizzed past. a whizzed passed week is good because it just means time is passing. but it also means everything else is drawing closer.

i am glad to say that i've been doing rather productive stuff these few days.
rather productive.

exams are just around the corner
and i havent been seriously mugging.
i'm just so lazy.
today's a public holiday, Queen's birthday
it's alr 3.30pm
not a single book has been opened
not a single page has been flipped.

and i need to do laundry

last week, tue,wed, and thu nights were spent in the library with van and jun.
fri and sat i watched MOVIES!

and i helped lala curl her hair
and i thought it was pretty nice(:
right lala?

this weekend was kinda fun. it felt like chalet! was pretty good i guess.
10 of us went to chris' aunt place to stayover.
that house. was huge.

there was alot of cool stuff, like
tennis court and swimming pool.
and a mini safeway.
